Petroleum Platform Association (PETFORM), its member companies, executive bodies and officers fully support and intend to comply with all applicable antitrust laws within the framework of all of PETFORM’s activities and shall not therein engage in anticompetitive conduct or practice or allow PETFORM to be used by anyone for any anticompetitive purpose including but not limited to the following kinds of prohibited conduct:
As PETFORM, r is committed to adhering to antitrust laws, it cautions all members and speakers that it is designed solely to develop the upstream and midstream petroleum industry and related companies active in Turkey to their mutual and not contradicting benefits, to carry out research and development services in its area of activity and to establish public opinion on the same. Under no circumstances shall the meetings and programs of PETFORM be used as a forum for representatives of competing companies or firms to reach any understanding whatsoever against the Law or plan any scheme that may be deemed a presumption of concerted practice pursuant to Article 4 of the Law.
Accordingly, PETFORM requests its members and participants to its meetings to refrain from any discussion which may provide the basis for an inference that they agreed to take any action relating to prices, services, production, allocation of markets or any other matter having a market effect. PETFORM provides that such discussions are avoided both at formal meetings and informal gatherings and activities. In addition, PETFORM is sensitive to other matters that may raise particular antitrust concern for associations such as membership restrictions, codes of ethics or other forms of self-regulation, product standardization or certification.
