10th Shippers Forum

The "Shippers Forum" organized by PETFORM, one of the biggest and most prestigious NGOs in the natural gas market for eight years, was held at Ankara Bilkent Hotel on 8-9 November 2016.

On the first day of the Forum, which is the only platform that brings all the stakeholders of the sector together around the same table, the meetings were run by EMRA Vice President Mr. Mehmet Ertürk. During the sessions on the topics of natural gas market wholesale regulations, market procedures and principles and suggestions on the daily capacity regime, intensive exchange of ideas between sector stakeholders such as PETFORM, EPDK, BOTAŞ and EPİAŞ was held.

On the second day, the President of EMRA, Mr. Mustafa Yılmaz and members of the Board together attended and of the previous workshop report on the workshop was presented. After the workshop’s presentation other macro presentations regarding the introduction of the transmission capacity of the transmission system in the natural gas market in Turkey with the basic principles of being a natural gas trade center and the necessary steps to be taken were made and the wishes and suggestions for the development of the gas market were presented.
