RGas Hub Training of Trainers Workshop

“Training of Trainers”, the last event of the TRGas Hub project, coordinated by PETFORM, one of the largest and most prestigious NGOs in the natural gas market, was hosted by EFET and ICIS Heren, project partners, in Vienna and London between on 25-29 January 2016.

Representatives from EMRA, BOTAŞ, ICIS, EFET, CEGH, ICE, CME, GFI, Trayport, Brainpool and PETFORM participated in the workshop organized with participation of public and private sector representatives.

In the part of the Workshop in Vienna, the presentations of EFET and CEGH representatives have examined the historical development of European natural gas markets and propose the process of the liberalization process of the Turkish natural gas market.

On the first day of the UK program, which started with the presentations of the ICE, CME and GFI representatives, a visit to Shell's Department of Commerce was organized to make it easier for participants to observe commercial activities. On the second day of the London program, a brainstorming session on the German natural gas market was prepared by Brainpool representatives, and participants were able to see real-time trading experience. Participants visited the Trayport office on the last day of the program and received information on the operation and use of Trayport's trading program, Global Vision.
